Essential Plant Nutrients

Magnesium sulfate heptahydrate supplies 9.5% magnesium and 12.5% sulfur in a fully water-soluble form. Magnesium is the central atom in the chlorophyll molecule, essential for photosynthesis and energy conversion. Sulfur is required for protein synthesis, enzyme function, and chlorophyll formation. One gram per gallon yields 25 ppm magnesium and 33 ppm sulfur.
