Potassium carbonate sesquihydrate, chemical formula K2C03•1.5H2O is a water soluble powder containing 57% K20 .
Fertilizer grade 0 - 0 - 57
Ideal for making in house pH UP stock concentrates for fertilizer injection systems. It is alkaline and caustic, so care must be taken to prevent the powder or liquid from splashing onto the skin or into the eyes. Adding the powder to water creates heat. DO NOT use hot water or add water to the powder. Add the powder slowly to cold . water, otherwise violent boiling may occur.
This material is hygroscopic and must be kept stored dry in a sealed container.
