Ultrasol® SOP 52 is free of chloride, sodium and heavy metals.
Ultrasol® SOP 52 is a free-flowing crystalline powder that quickly dissolves in water.
Ultrasol® SOP 52 can be mixed with all water-soluble fertilizers other than calcium-containing products.
The high concentration of potassium and the absence of nitrogen and phosphate enable the correct quantity of potassium to be supplied at any stage. Ultrasol® SOP 52 can be combined with N, P or NP sources according to crop needs.
In alkaline soils, Ultrasol® SOP 52 lowers the pH in the rhizosphere, helping to improve availability of phosphates and certain trace elements. In drip irrigation solutions, it helps to reduce the pH of the irrigation water.
THE FLEXIBLE K IN FERTIGATION
Fertigation In fertigation, accurate control of the supply of every nutrient is a key to nutrient management. Ultrasol® SOP 52 is a chloride-free, water-soluble product, the only potassium source that also provides the crop with sulfur, an essential secondary nutrient. As it is free of other macronutrients, Ultrasol® SOP 52 is a useful tool that allows the application of potassium at the requested levels at any growing stage.
Ultrasol® SOP 52 is an excellent nutrient source to provide part of the potassium requirement. Take care not to exceed the sulphate needs of the plant, thus avoiding excess. It can be combined with any nitrogen source according to crop requirement, controlling the K/N ratio as desired.
In drip irrigation systems on alkaline soils, the low pH of Ultrasol® SOP 52 contributes to a slight acidification of the zone surrounding the roots (rhizosphere), enhancing the availability of phosphate and micronutrients present in the soil.
In hydroponics, Ultrasol® SOP 52 is used as sulfate source for crops that demand high sulfur.
