• YaraLiva Calcinit is intended to be used in a variety of different irrigation systems such as hydroponics, drip systems, low volume sprinklers, center pivots, and spray units.

Nitrate nitrogen 

Directly available for plant uptake, resulting in fast and predictable growth responses. Non-volatile nor adsorbed to soil particles, leaving it readily available to plant roots. The preferred nitrogen source for most horticultural and high value agricultural crops. Improves plant uptake of the cations potassium, calcium and magnesium.

Calcium improves

Cell wall strength, leading to better quality, shelf life and increases marketable crop yields. Cell wall strength, helping plants tolerate pest and disease pressure. Helps to maintain an optimum root environment for high yielding crops. Tolerance to heat stress.

Compatibility

YaraLiva™ Calcinit™ is derived from Ammonium Calcium Nitrate Double Salt and can be mixed with all water soluble fertilizers, except concentrated stock solutions containing either phosphate or sulphate.

Calcium deficiency

Blossom end rot in tomatoes, tip burn in lettuce, internal rust spot in potatoes are some of the most commonly seen symptoms of calcium deficiency. Calcium uptake takes place passively through the transpiration stream, and it is essential that a fully water soluble supply of calcium is available in the rootzone when plants need it most.

One gram dissolved in one gallon of water yeilds 38 ppm nitrate nitrogen, 3 ppm ammonium nitrogen and 50 ppm calcium.
