Azadirachtin & Neem Oil Insecticides

Azadirachtin and neem oil-based insecticides are among the most effective and widely used tools in organic and low-risk Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs for commercial greenhouse operations, controlled environment agriculture (CEA), and certified organic farms.

Azadirachtin — the primary active compound derived from neem seed extract — acts as an insect growth regulator (IGR), disrupting molting and reproduction in a broad spectrum of insects including aphids, whiteflies, fungus gnats, thrips, spider mites, and caterpillars. Most formulations are OMRI listed for organic use and FIFRA 25(b) exempt or EPA registered with short re-entry intervals.
