Enzyme Based Insecticides

Enzyme-based insecticides offer a biological mode of action for controlling soft-bodied insects including aphids, whiteflies, spider mites, and thrips in commercial greenhouse operations, controlled environment agriculture (CEA), and certified organic farms.

These formulations work by breaking down the protective outer coating of insects on contact, causing rapid desiccation. They are well-suited for use in IPM rotation programs — with low residue profiles, short re-entry intervals, and no known resistance development — making them an effective tool alongside other biological and organic controls.
