Single-species mycorrhizal inoculant

Mykos WP contains the arbuscular mycorrhizal fungus Rhizophagus intraradices, formerly known as Glomus intraradices. The manufacturer lists a concentration of 250 propagules per gram and specifies that the formulation contains no other microbes, such as Trichoderma or ectomycorrhizal fungi.

Mycorrhizal fungi form a symbiotic relationship with compatible host plants. Their fungal hyphae extend beyond the roots, helping plants access water and nutrients in exchange for carbohydrates supplied by the plant. Mykos WP is an inoculant, not a replacement for a complete crop nutrition program.
