GROW1 40 ft × 100 ft Black-and-White Blackout Film

Build your light deprivation plan around the coverage your structure requires. GROW1 woven blackout film measures 40 ft wide × 100 ft long and has a 9 mil thickness, providing a black-and-white covering option for greenhouse light-cycle management.

For growers preparing a blackout system, selecting the right film dimensions is the starting point. This size provides a wider sheet than the 32 ft option, but the correct fit depends on your roof profile, side coverage, and attachment layout rather than floor width alone.

Measure for Your Installation

Measure the full route the film will cover, including the greenhouse roof curve and any planned side coverage. Allow additional material for overlaps and secure attachment. The 40 ft × 100 ft measurement describes the film itself, not the greenhouse footprint it will cover.

Using Film in a Light Deprivation System

Plan how the covering will be positioned, secured, and moved during your light deprivation schedule. Inspect edges, seams, doors, and ventilation openings for light leaks, and coordinate dark periods with your crop's ventilation requirements. Follow the manufacturer's installation and handling instructions.
