Hortilux Super HPS 1000-Watt Grow Lamp
The Hortilux Super HPS is a 1000-watt high-pressure sodium lamp for horticultural lighting. It is a replacement lamp for a compatible HPS lighting system, not a complete grow-light fixture.
Product Details
- Brand: Hortilux.
- Product line: Super HPS.
- Lamp technology: High-pressure sodium (HPS).
- Rated wattage: 1000W.
Check Compatibility Before Ordering
Confirm that your ballast and fixture are specified for this lamp model and wattage. Check the required socket, lamp dimensions and operating requirements against the manufacturer's documentation. Wattage alone does not establish compatibility, and HPS lamps are not interchangeable with every other grow-light lamp.
Installation and Handling
Disconnect power and allow the existing lamp and fixture to cool before replacement. Follow the lamp and fixture manufacturers' installation instructions, handling precautions and operating requirements.
