House & Garden Grow 2-12-28 is the vegetative-stage component of the House & Garden dry three-part base nutrient program. Supplied as a soluble powder in a 25 lb package, it is used alongside CalMag during early plant production and vegetative growth.

Measure Grow by weight and follow the manufacturer's stage-specific chart rather than treating it as a complete standalone fertilizer. The dry program pairs Grow with CalMag in the vegetative phase and uses Bloom with CalMag during flowering.

All rates below are per 1 U.S. gallon of RO water and apply to the combined House & Garden dry-base program.

• Cuttings and seedlings: 1.4 g Grow with 2.6 g CalMag; combined-program target EC 1.2 mS/cm.
• Vegetative week 1: 2.5 g Grow with 4.5 g CalMag; combined-program target EC 2.0 mS/cm.
• Vegetative week 2: 2.7 g Grow with 5.2 g CalMag; combined-program target EC 2.2 mS/cm.

These EC targets describe the chart's combined feeding program, not Grow alone. Use the full chart for additives and the transition to flowering. Follow product labels and adjust feeding to crop needs and source-water quality. Do not apply dry powder directly to growing media.

Safety and Storage

Application of this fertilizer may result in forage crops with levels of molybdenum (Mo) that are toxic to ruminant animals. This fertilizer contains Boron (B). Use of this fertilizer on crops other than flowering annuals may result in serious injury to the crop(s).

Store at room temperature between 44°F and 86°F (7°C and 30°C). Keep the container sealed and dry during storage. Follow the product label and safety data sheet for handling requirements.
