Designed for manual and automated cutting production, the ultra-low-density substrate and Universal Star dibbles make insertion easier while maintaining close contact with cuttings of different stem thicknesses.

Applications

Supplied clean and pest- and pathogen-free, OASIS RhizoPlug trays are designed for vegetative propagation of floriculture crops, culinary herbs, tropicals and similar crops, including challenging fragile-stemmed varieties. Use them in manual operations or automated young-plant production systems.

Preparation and Use

1. Fully saturate with a balanced nutrient solution before inserting cuttings. RhizoPlug ships dry and contains limited nutrients.
2. Place trays where excess water can drain freely and check for dry spots before sticking.
3. Insert cuttings approximately 1.25–1.5 cm deep, following the OASIS usage guide, and mist immediately after insertion.
4. Adjust misting, nutrition and environmental conditions to the crop and greenhouse. Reduce misting as cuttings recover while avoiding wilting. Do not allow the substrate to dry out.

Storage

Store in the original packaging in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight. OASIS specifies a two-year shelf life from the manufacture date when stored properly.
