Soil electrical conductivity (EC) is a crucial metric that affects plant nutrient availability, soil microbial activity, and crop yield and quality. The sensor accurately measures bulk EC and estimates pore water EC (pwEC) using the Hilhorst method, allowing farmers to make informed decisions about irrigation and fertilization, leading to reduced costs and increased efficiency.
This wireless sensor is specifically optimized for OTA (over the air) configuration with built-in Bluetooth, enabling quick setup and updates. It is also compatible with worldwide LoRaWAN® networks and can cover a long transmission range while keeping lower power consumption. With an ultra-wide transmission range of 2km in urban scenes and 10km in line-of-sight scenes, this sensor is perfect for outdoor use, high UV exposure, heavy rain, dusty conditions, and more.
