Conductivity Calibration Standard for Grower Testing

Hanna HI7031-023 GroLine is a 1413 µS/cm conductivity calibration solution supplied in a 230 mL bottle. Use it to calibrate a conductivity meter that accepts this standard, helping keep EC measurements consistent when checking irrigation water and nutrient solutions.

Specifications

• Manufacturer: Hanna Instruments.
• Product code: HI7031-023.
• Conductivity standard: 1413 µS/cm.
• Bottle size: 230 mL.
• Product line: GroLine.

Documented Calibration Quality

The solution is prepared against a NIST-traceable potassium chloride solution and supplied with a certificate of analysis. Each bottle carries a lot number and expiration date for recordkeeping.

• Temperature reference chart printed on the bottle shows conductivity values at different temperatures.
• Airtight bottle with a tamper-proof seal helps protect solution quality before opening.
• Manufacturer-listed unopened shelf life is five years from manufacture; use the expiration date printed on your bottle, not the purchase date.

Choosing and Using the Standard

Confirm that your meter supports calibration with a 1413 µS/cm standard, then follow its calibration procedure and the bottle instructions. This is a conductivity calibration solution, not a pH buffer or a fertilizer additive. Use it as part of your measurement routine before relying on EC readings to adjust a nutrient program.
