Chelated Iron Fertilizers for Hydroponics, Fertigation & Foliar

High-performance chelated iron fertilizers that keep iron plant-available across a wide pH range. Choose from Fe-DTPA, Fe-EDDHA, and Fe-EDTA formulations — each engineered to prevent and correct iron deficiency chlorosis in demanding production environments.

Why Use Chelated Iron?

In alkaline soils and growing media (pH above 7.0), conventional iron sources quickly precipitate into forms plants cannot absorb. Chelation "locks" iron in a stable, soluble form that remains available for uptake even under challenging pH conditions — delivering faster greening response and more consistent crop performance.

Choose the Right Iron Chelate

  • Fe-DTPA (pH 4.0–7.5): The most widely used iron chelate for hydroponics, fertigation, and foliar. Ideal for most soils and nutrient solutions. Available as Haifa Micro FeK-DTPA 11%, Yara Rexolin/Dissolvine Fe-DTPA 11%, and Sprint 330 10% Fe-DTPA.
  • Fe-EDDHA (pH up to 9.0): The strongest chelate for high-pH and calcareous soils where DTPA loses effectiveness. Available as Sprint 138 Fe-EDDHA.
  • Fe-EDTA (pH 4.0–6.5): Cost-effective option for lower-pH systems and foliar applications.

Applications

  • Hydroponics: Maintain 1–3 ppm Fe in nutrient solution for optimal plant health
  • Fertigation: Apply through drip or injection systems for season-long iron availability
  • Foliar: Fast correction of visible iron deficiency chlorosis — results in 7–14 days
