How Silicon Works

Soluble potassium silicates, once diluted to working strength (10–25 ppm Si) and adjusted to pH 5–6.5, hydrolyze in water to form silicic acid — the plant-available form of silicon. Silicic acid is absorbed by roots and deposited in cell walls, providing structural reinforcement throughout the plant.
