Peters Professional Canna+ hydroponic nutrient feed chart — complete program by ICL including 5-11-26, CalciNit, 14-0-8 Boost, 0-15-30 Finisher, Liquid S.T.E.M., and H2Pro

Peters Professional Canna+ Feed Chart: The Complete Hydroponic Nutrient Program

If you're growing hydroponically and want professional-grade results, the Peters Professional Canna+ Fertilization System is one of the most dialed-in nutrient programs available. Designed specifically for soilless and recirculating systems, it uses a multi-part approach that shifts nutrient ratios precisely as your crop moves from vegetative growth into flowering and finish.

This guide breaks down the complete Canna+ feed chart — including injector rates, reservoir rates, and plant optimizer timing — so you can run the program with confidence from cuts to harvest.

Running LED lighting? The EC targets in this program take on added importance when you switch from HPS. Read our guide on Why Switching from HPS to LED Increases Water Use Efficiency — And What It Means for Your EC before dialing in your reservoir.

What's in the Peters Professional Canna+ Program?

The Canna+ system is built around four base fertilizers and two plant optimizers:

  • Peters Professional 5-11-26 Hydroponic Special — the B-component base, backbone of veg and early flower
  • YaraLiva CalciNit 15.5-0-0 (19% Ca) — the A-component calcium nitrate, paired with 5-11-26 through flower initiation
  • Peters Professional 14-0-8 Hydroponic Boost — bridges the transition from flower to finish, delivering N, K, Ca, and Mg without phosphorus
  • Peters Professional 0-15-30 Hydroponic Finisher — zero-nitrogen finish formula, 25% more concentrated in P, K, Mg, and S than competing finishers
  • Peters Liquid S.T.E.M. — chelated micronutrient supplement (B, Cu, Fe, Mn, Mo, Zn), used during teens and flower initiation
  • H2Pro Liquid Surfactant — wetting agent for coco, peat, and rockwool; runs throughout the entire cycle

How the Program Works: Stage-by-Stage Logic

Cuts & Starts — Low EC, light feeding. CalciNit and 5-11-26 establish the A/B base. H2Pro begins immediately to ensure uniform media hydration.

Teens (Veg) — Rates ramp up. EC targets 1.8. S.T.E.M. is introduced to support rapid vegetative growth with a full chelated micronutrient profile.

Flower Initiation — Peak EC at 2.5. 5-11-26 hits its highest rate. 14-0-8 Boost is introduced. S.T.E.M. continues. H2Pro gets a one-time high-volume application (315 mL/100 gal) to fully saturate media ahead of the flowering stretch.

Bud Swell — Nitrogen begins pulling back. 5-11-26 drops sharply, 14-0-8 doubles. CalciNit phases out. EC drops to 2.2 as the plant shifts energy to bud development.

Finish — Zero nitrogen. 5-11-26 and CalciNit are completely removed. 0-15-30 Finisher takes over, maximizing P and K for bud density, terpene development, and natural senescence. EC at 2.0.

Note: If you've recently transitioned to LED lighting, your plants will transpire less water, which affects how quickly EC builds in the root zone. See our guide on WUE and EC management under LED to adjust these targets accordingly.

Why Peters Professional for High-Value Crops?

  • Chelated trace elements in the 5-11-26 base — no separate micronutrient package needed during veg
  • True A/B separation — CalciNit and 5-11-26 are kept in separate tanks to prevent calcium-sulfate precipitation
  • 25% more concentrated finisher — the 0-15-30 delivers more P, K, Mg, and S per pound than competing finish formulas
  • Compatible with all water types — works in soft, hard, RO, and well water
  • M-77 chelation technology — enhances nutrient uptake efficiency at the root zone
